  1. You should have great knowledge:

A person with a great knowledge always remains significant at any stage. Great knowledge gives you self-confidence and makes you a strong personality. Let me explain, in a dialogue there is a topic under discussion on which you have a great research. Under this situation you will feel comfortable, this makes you confident and you can discuss everything without any hurdle. This kind of situation will make you prominent in your specific society. If you want to become a good and perfect speaker you should include this property in the list of your specialties. You will never hesitate at any stage of your life while you’re addressing anyone.

  1. You should be entertaining and discipline:

Suppose, if you have a great knowledge but you’re kind of serious speaker, no entertaining stuff. People will get bore during your speech, may you listen some voices of snorting at the stage. If this is happening when you’re on the stage and delivering your speech, it’s kind of shame for you as a speaker. Therefore, avoid from above discussed situation.  There is no one in this world, who can hear you with attention under these circumstances. To keep your audience active and attentive you should be entertaining. If you have this quality then you will be unstoppable.

Your dressing and your discipline is one most important requirement when you’re on stage. When you will appear on the stage, people will first notice your body language, your dressing and discipline. There is an opportunity for you to embrace your audience even before you speak. Therefore make your appearance valuable, you will get positive response.

  1. You should have motivational character:

When you have motivational character you will be extraordinary speaker, because this makes you better than average speaker. Everyone likes such a person who did many successful adventures in his life. They will give you extra attention. You should be able to make your life story interesting and lesson full. The Ability to quote examples from common life can be effective. But examples irrelevant to topic are the worst to do. It may exploit all your speech rhythm. But important thing is, you should bring always new story when you move forward for next stage. This activity will make your speech or lecture more interesting and listenable.

  1. You should be able to simplify complexities of the topic:

Public will follow you and your ways which you will explain to them. You can make your audience life easy or difficult, it all depends on you. But I’ll prefer, even everyone like such orators those who can simplify things. Imagine, if people come to hear you and after listening they have no idea what to do? Therefore you are the person who can solve all those problems. Give them appropriate solutions to resolve their complexities. Believe me if you are able to do this, people will start to admire you. You will become a successful speaker.

  1. You should be great listener and thinker:

It’s not possible to become a good speaker, if you’re not good listener. You can learn more and better by listening others. Thinking is another important feature of a good speaker, because it matters a lot that how much serious and practical you are. Positive and creative thinkers have massive scope in this field. For such kind of people getting fame is not a big game. Your way of thinking decides whether you’re successful or not. Therefore, you should follow some great and successful speaker of world. Listen them properly. Think like them, act like them than you will become a perfect speaker at the end of the day. And put this quote in your mind

A good speech has a beginning, middle and an end, the best example being, “I LOVE YOU.”

  1. Oh my new friend, I actually don’t give a care about being a great public speaker but does you post mean I need to become an advertising agent if I should so desire to speak in public at a later date? I have spoken in public a few times, to no avail, but then I was fighting the status quo and who can defeat the elite? I made ’em laugh but I didn’t make them change their vote. Money Talks and we the less than elite don’t talk as effectively as money. ~dru~

    1. People sense your energy and confidence and if your clothing looks like it was meant for your body, from the time you walk up to the podium before you speak. Then each person needs to feel as though you are speaking just to them. Meet the eye of everyone, don’t just glance around the room.

  2. Hi I enjoyed this article and thank you so much for writing about this topic. I think passion is an important ingredient which stems from the having “great knowledge” as you mentioned. Every great speaker I have ever heard has always been passionate about their message as well as assessed the audience members that they were speaking to, and I think the end result is they have a “take away” for the audience. Something that becomes ingrained in our head once we leave. Of course charisma is always helpful too! Thank you again for the insight. 🙂

  3. I have an awful fear of public speaking, perhaps because I have never done it. Considering that I am on a path to becoming an author I do wonder whether this is something I must try to get to grips with. You never know I might surprise myself! Thanks for the tips.

    1. I, too, just finished the first draft of my book. I have researched a lot about the marketing end. Being able to speak about your topic will enhance your sales. My topic has great impact on millions of people. I have heard others speak on the topic I write. I am excited about the prospect of speaking myself and using the book for sales as well. (If you dream it, it will happen! ) If you have never spoken anywhere you might want to start with gathering maybe a dozen or so friends and family who would support you and have an evening to speak to them and give yourself a chance to really prepare your words as if it is for real, and then ask them to critique you honestly. Let me know how it goes 😉

      1. Yes, it’s good. But it would be much better if you can do same practice standing against your mirror. There is another way possible too, you can stand in a classroom with empty seats. Now by assuming these chairs are not empty you can practice there.Initially you may feel some pressure, then it will become better.

  4. All of these are great ideas and it will probably take more than just one time at any of them. It is a common fear of many people, to have many eyes on them. It’s nerve racking to call attention to yourself, unless you are an exhibitionist. It’s like people who enjoy bungee jumping. That would scare the daylights out of me, but I love people. For many years I was a topless dancer. If you can get up and take your clothes off in front of people you can do just about anything! I’m in my 60’s now. I don’t think anyone would want to see me without my clothes. It is a secret wish of many women, though, to be able to do that if they could.

  5. True words … every … single … one of them … expert advice … Very hard to put into practice ! I know if you don’t try your will stay the same person you are. Change is not always easy and / Or for the good, but like a great idol of mine once said … “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” I know that I’m not a fish … I am the Fisher! Oh, it’s about a guy who thinks he’s a knight in shining armor. The only thing is, he lives in a world where knights don’t exist anymore. … Man gotta be the man, fish gotta be the fish.
You are definitely 100% right. At the very least it’s worth the try!
